The Roman Emperor profiles are cast in creamy white jesmonite, then a wild and wonderful background of a technique that can be closely compared to Scagliola used to produce the appearance of decorative marble. This is a 'fly by the seat of your pants' kind of technique, meaning no two plaques will ever be alike.
