Ben and Bridie have been working on this special project for the best part of 2016, taking a very rare, very fine piece of C19th creamware back to Stoke-on-Trent to painstakingly recreate this Ionic Column Candlestick.
Skilfully made from a seven-part mould in small batches of creamy Cornish clay slip – they really don’t make them like this anymore!
The results could not be any more perfect.
