I’m staying with my old friends Charles and Rachel for a couple of days, while I’m up here on the Suffolk coast taking photographs for a book that I’m writing and which will be coming out next year (watch this space…)
I drove up late on Saturday evening, to the light of an extraordinary sunset, and we have spent a quiet, lazy day doing nothing. So close to the coast, the light is different. Look at Rachel’s fantastic border, more than reminiscent, I cannot help feeling, of Great Dixter. A bit more bonkers than the old Parsonage, but a lot more amazing.
Roll on High Summer.
