Monday – Thursday, 9am to 5.30pm.
Bridie Hall Ltd is growing and we are currently looking for a workshop assistant for four days a week. They will be required to help with the preparation and finishing of products along with maintaining a neat and tidy workshop.
The workshop assistant would ideally have good painting experience and a good understanding of lacquering and finishing, though not essential. They will be joining a small team and working with a broad range of products, decoupage plates, intaglio boxes and casting, and Alphabet Brush Pots. The more skills they are willing to pick up and assist with the more work there will be going forward.
The candidate must be conscientious, meticulous, capable of listening to and following instructions carefully. They must possess excellent attention to detail, be capable of prioritising their workload and able to be confidently left alone to carry out their work.
A tidy and methodical approach to work is of upmost importance.
A ‘can-do’ attitude is a must as tasks will be many and varied; prepare to roll your sleeves up!
The studio is based near Kings Cross, Central London.
The role is being advertised as part-time but will potentially move to full-time once all workshop positions are filled and operations are fully up and running.
