Having both the Soane and British Museums on our doorstep providing an inexhaustible source of inspiration for nearly two decades, it seems well overdue to finally create ‘The Museum Marble Cup’ and ‘The Museum Footed Beaker’.
Based on details taken from the Egyptian, Greek and Roman Galleries and created using creamy Calacatta Viola marble, richly veined with deep plum and soft grey tones.
This Calacatta Viola marble cup designed by Bridie Hall gives a classic, chalice-like silhouette with a rounded bowl and a solid, flared foot.
Its smooth unpolished surface and balanced proportions highlight the natural beauty of the stone, creating an object that feels timeless.
A multi-use object. Perfect for feathers, flowers and foliage. Translucent enough to hold a tea light candle. Beautiful on its own.
Dimensions: Base Diameter 7.5cm, Height 10cm, Top Diameter 10cm.
