Gold Mermaid Hanging Bowl

Drawing inspiration from the landscape, folklore, motherhood, myth and magic. Artist Freyja Lee uses pots as her canvas. Made of terracotta by her husband Rollo Dunford Wood, they work closely in their studio, a converted cattle barn in the back garden of their Welsh farmhouse overlooking fields.

Depicting imagery rich in symbolism and tradition. Reminiscent of the revived lustrewares in art pottery of William de Morgan.
