A central medallion depicting a royal enthronement scene flanked by courtiers in a floral setting. Multiple vignettes surrounding featuring battles, hunts and entertainments each within floral roundels. Finely detailed figures with vibrant use of red, gold and green colours in the Safavid and Qajar traditions of Persian lacquerware.
One small area of damage to one edge, otherwise excellent condition.
Indian circa 1880.
