PART TIME SHOP ASSISTANT WANTED
Job Description: To support management in ensuring the efficient day-to-day running of both Pentreath & Hall shop & online store and staffing the shop independently on Saturdays.
Hourly Rate: £10.50/hour.
Days: Monday, Wednesday, Friday, 9am – 6pm. Saturday 11am – 6pm.
Main Duties:
- Staffing and maintaining the smooth running of the shop.
- Processing, packing and dispatching internet orders
- Keeping the stockroom clean & tidy at all times.
- Providing daily lunch cover support to the shop.
- To operate the till & handle sale transactions handling cash, credit/debit cards.
- To learn about shop products & provide customers with product information
- Looking after all aspects of the shop while the manager is away.
- Assisting with regular stock checks.
- Maintaining the staff areas are kept clean & tidy
- Deal with all P&H refuse and recycling
- Assisting at P&H evening events.
